User Guide -
Fitting your pad
1. Place the pad on the inside of the gusset of your underwear with the soft, absorbent cotton layer facing upward and the narrower end pointing towards the front of the underwear, near the pubic bone.
2. Fold the wings around the underwear gusset.
3. Snap the press studs together. You may need to adjust the pad to sit more toward the front or back of your underwear depending on your bleed pattern.
How often do cloth pads need to be changed?
We recommend changing your pad at least every 3-4 hours to avoid any smells developing, which is standard with both reusable and disposable pads of any type.
Folding cloth pads
1. Lay the cloth pad flat with the inside facing upward.
2. Fold the back of the pad toward the centre.
3. Fold the front of the pad toward the centre.
4. Snap the wings of the pads together.
Store used pads in a small wet bag or zip-lock bag to take home for washing.
Washing cloth pads
1. Pre-rinse your pad in cold water until the water runs clear or leave it to soak overnight.
2. You can machine or hand wash your cloth pads.
Hand wash - Hand wash with detergent in warm water
Machine wash - Add to your next machine wash on a gentle, warm wash cycle.
3. Line dry, in the sun if possible
Cloth pads may take a little longer to dry than other garment due to the absorbent layers.
- Do not use fabric softeners
- Do not bleach
- Do not tumble dry
- Do not iron
It is normal for cloth pads to shrink a little after the first wash as they are made of cotton.
